Construction plans spread across a table, seen from above.

The product

One workspace, from plans to decision.

Six modules follow a request for quotes from the plans and specs you upload to the decision, without your team changing tools or subcontractors opening a portal.

See the six modules

01 · Prepare

Document analysis

Upload plans, specs, and addenda. Quottea proposes the scope of work, the items to verify, the bid packages, and a bid schedule. Your team reviews before anything goes out.

  • Scope
  • To verify
  • Bid packages
  • Bid schedule

What you get

  • Reads plans, specs, and addenda, and presents the result in four views: Scope, To verify, Bid packages, and Bid schedule.
  • Every item cites a document, a page, and a verbatim excerpt.
  • Bid packages carry work categories and a bid package becomes a request in one click.

02 · Prepare

Directory and subcontractors

Start from your bid packages to find who to invite: your private directory and an enriched register of RBQ-licensed companies, by type of work and by distance from the site.

  • Private directory
  • RBQ directory
  • Distance from site

What you get

  • Your private subcontractor directory, with their contacts.
  • An enriched register of RBQ-licensed companies (more than 54,000 licences), searchable by type of work and by distance from the site.
  • Our enrichment gives, for each company, the types of work it does, its fields of activity, its SEAO contracts, and its location.

03 · Invite and receive

Send from your own email

Write once and send to every firm in the bid package from your own mailbox, with the documents attached as one link. Subcontractors reply as usual, with no account or portal, and can say whether they will bid in one click.

  • Templates
  • Attached documents
  • Intent to bid

What you get

  • Sending leaves from your mailbox, connected to our platform.
  • Documents are shared through a secure link you can revoke (the bid package).
  • Quick intent-to-bid buttons are included in the email: We will bid, Undecided, and We will not bid.

04 · Invite and receive

Reading the replies

Replies land in your mailbox; Quottea files them under the right request and reads the PDF quotes. Amounts, inclusions, exclusions, and conditions are extracted automatically.

  • Filed by request
  • PDF extraction
  • PDF import

What you get

  • Replies are filed and the type of message (quote, question, decline…) is inferred automatically.
  • PDF quotes are read and every amount is checked against the page it came from.
  • Create quotes by importing the PDFs a supplier sent you another way.

05 · Decide

Comparison

Quotes are compared side by side: prices, taxes, inclusions, exclusions, and revisions. Differences are computed by the system, and Quottea provides an AI comparative analysis.

  • Side by side
  • AI analysis
  • Revisions
  • Decision recorded

What you get

  • Quotes are compared side by side, with prices, taxes, inclusions, exclusions, and revisions.
  • An AI comparative reading points out the differences and the items to check, citing the quotes.
  • No automatic award recommendation: the decision is yours and it is recorded with its history.

06 · Decide

Bid schedule

Build your bid schedule line by line: select a firm’s quote, enter your own price or a lump sum, set the taxes, then publish the revision.

  • Line by line
  • Lump sums
  • Taxes
  • Published revisions

What you get

  • Build the bid schedule line by line: select a firm’s quote, enter your own price or a lump sum, set the taxes.
  • Supplier lines that do not fit the bid schedule can be attached to a line or set aside.
  • Publish a revision when the bid schedule is ready; every amount you select points back to the quote that carries it.

And also

What surrounds the cycle.

  • Workspace calendar

Request deadlines, project dates, and your appointments on one calendar.

  • Project notes

Notes with checklists and due dates, attached to each project.

  • Members and roles

Control the access levels of your team members.

  • Reversible archive

Archive a project, a request, or a company, then restore it when needed.

  • Bilingual

An interface in French and English.

  • Tea, the AI assistant

Ask in plain language; Tea reads your workspace and acts only with your approval.
